Next overland trip CAPE TO CAIRO

Over landing is that in our lives that we will never come to an end. Somebody said; you have only one life to live, LIVE IT. The time has arrived that we want to spread our wings and expand our horizon.

We are planning to drive from Cape to Cairo along the western side of Africa. This might be an extreme to many, but we consider continuing to Lebanon via Turkey to Europe. Drive all the way to Spain over the Street of Gibraltar to Morocco and come back the western side of Africa. “Eish” this sounds like a dream.

We understand that this trip will need enormous planning, and preparations. This is overlanding; planning and preparations are part of the trip. We already did a lot of research, reading and planning and will divide it into the following categories; Route planning, Preparations, Vehicle, Budget

With our previous experience we are very comfortable that we will be able to accomplish this trip. There are several important matters like safety and visas in certain countries that is presently engaged in war, but we will see it as a challenge. (Not to go through those countries, but rather to avoid them)
